Be A Dreamer ~ Blog Circle

I love the month of January.  For me, like many, it is a month of new beginnings, goals and dreams.  This months light inspired/girl hearts camera theme is “Be A Dreamer”.  I am a huge dreamer.  This year I am not just focusing on dreaming big but on actually really attaining my goals.  Any one can be a dreamer, but can we then make our dreams happen?  That’s where all the hard work is, but also where all the fun and satisfaction is!  I was happy to start the year off with a photography workshop put on by the lovely Amber Grover and her husband Luke of Grover Style Photography.  It was just what I needed to get me jump-started and ready to face this year head on.  She gave us tons of business tips and advice about all things photography and had some amazing couples volunteer their time so that we could practice our photography skills.  It was a great day!  I will do a more in depth photo post on this later.  This year one of my major “dreams” is to start shooting weddings.  I shot a couple weddings a while back but was not sure if that was something that I wanted to pursue.  Now two years and a lot more experience later, I am ready!  Can’t wait to see what dreams I will accomplish this year!  Here’s one frame of each of our couples.  They were such good sports and so much fun to photograph!
