Be Thankful

I am so excited to be a part of the girl hearts camera  & light inspired community.  To have a group of amazing women photographers to offer support & encouragement is awesome!  I am having so much fun getting to know all these ladies and am excited to participate in my first GHC blog circle project.

This months theme is appropriately titled “Be Thankful”.  I have so many things to be thankful for in my life.  God blesses me in so many ways and I hope to never forget to give God thanks.  Here are a few things that I am especially thankful for;

* a husband who is one of the most kind people I have ever met, he’s hilarious and constantly has me in stitches, he is so supportive of everything that I do and every venture that I take, he believes in me, he works so hard to provide for us, and he’s not too bad to look at either :)
*Daisy- the cutest little pup a girl could ask for
* a supportive family who loves me unconditionally and who I love to spend time with
* my syster, who is my very best friend, and lucky for me shes my blood so no matter what she stuck with me for life
* amazing friends who I can trust with anything and are always a good time
* that God blessed me with a creative and artistic soul.  When I am creating whether it be making beautiful images or using some other medium I feel like I am doing what I am truly meant to do.
* new brothers and sister in law.  They have felt like family for a long time already, but I am thankful they are officially mine
* I am so thankful for the time that I did have with my mother in law.  She was such a beautiful person and an inspiration.  She forever changed my life.  Most of all I am thankful for God’s promise that this life is temporary and those that we ache for here on earth we will meet again.  For Eternity.

 I had big plans for the photo portion of this post.  I wanted to document our first Thanksgiving that we hosted as husband and wife with Trav’s family.  This didn’t happen however!  Sometimes, it is nice to just be present and not be hiding behind a camera.  So instead I just enjoyed our time with family and decided to add a couple photos of two of my favorites.  My sister and dog, I don’t know what I would do without these two :)
