I wanted to share some favorites from Kristi’s Pageo Lavender Farm Senior session and thought it would be the perfect time to answer some frequently asked questions about senior sessions! If you have any questions of your own that I missed please feel free to email me.

Everything you Want to Know About your Senior Session

1. How many outfits can I bring? I suggest no more than 3. Any more than that and the time you spend changing really starts to cut into your photo time. Think a casual outfit, a dressy outfit and another outfit which could be your sports uniform, 4H outfit, or letterman jacket to name a few examples.
2. Do you have locations you like to shoot at? Yes! I have several great local spots but also love to travel for shoots. There is an additional fee for travel but it’s worth it for a unique and epic location!

3. How many images do I get and can I print them anywhere? You can expect 80+ images from your shoot and yes you can print anywhere! I will, however, give you some suggestions of where to print with your gallery.

4. What if I have a blemish on my face at my shoot? Girl I got you covered! Along with my regular editing I will retouch so that you are looking flawless.

5. Can I bring a friend along to hop in some photos? You are welcome to bring a friend but at this time they can not be in the photos unless they pay the shoot fee also and have signed a contract with me.

6. Can I bring my dog? YES! That is one friend that you are welcome to include in your photos!

7. What should I wear? Are there colors that photograph better than others? I love textures and accessories. Hats, scarves, and statement jewelry really help to elevate your outfit and the session. Avoid neon & super bright colors. My editing style lends itself to neutrals and soft tones as well as jewel tones.

8. Can I bring props? Yep! I love when my clients bring personal elements to their sessions. Props might include; gear for the sports that you are involved in, musical instruments, hats, balloons, etc.

9. How long does it take to receive my finished images? About two weeks! If you have a year book deadline or a graduation party coming up make sure that you book your shoot with plenty of time to get the images back and submit or print them.

10. What if I can not decide what to wear? Can I send you photos for outfit help? Yes of course! Please feel free to text me photos and I will give you my opinion on what will photograph best.
