UC Berkeley Wedding ~ Alex & Bryan

Alex and Bryan met at 16 and 18 years old when they both attended the same club for gymnastics. They both then went on to attend Cal Berkeley and compete on the gymnastics team. After 11.5 years of dating Bryan popped the question! Since they lived in the Bay for a while and attended UC Berkeley this was the perfect location for their wedding!

I absolutely loved being a part of Alex and Bryan’s UC Berkeley wedding day. They had so many personal touches that made it really special. Alex had a first look with her dad and pup as well as with her maid of honor. (scroll down to see their adorable fur baby!).

Advice that Alex would give to couples planning their wedding:

“Whatever you can do now, do it! You will thank yourself later for checking things off the list early rather than waiting just because you are following a timeline from Pinterest. For example, I was so glad we had gotten our wedding rings done, gel and accessories chose, ties picked early. They were all ready to go when things started to pile up at the end (because there ARE things that you just can’t do early – seating chart, final counts… you’ll be spending the last month doing those).

Also bride brain is REAL! No matter how organized and on-time I was with planning, the last week or so I started to lose track of details that were in my head. Delegate your MOH, Best Man, etc. to help with certain tasks so you don’t rely on yourself to remember because there will be a lot of things going on the last couple days! Keep them in the look for day-of tasks (flower pick ups, boutonniere deliver, timeline) so they can help answer questions while you try and relax and enjoy!”

This was one of Alex’s most memorable moments. Their adorable little flower girl was a bit camera shy and absolutely refused to turn around for a photo! LOL! I think it makes for a hilarious photo and memory!
